HISTORY In the year of 1937, Mr. Pascual Rubio Ávalos established himself in the Tianguis of Ciudad Guzmán Jalisco with the sale of Chiles and Tomatoes; in 1942 the first property to store product was acquired; In 1957, due to the need to market more products, another property called “Hotel América” was acquired to establish its commercial operations under the name of Cereals and Forages of the South; in 1962 his son, Mr. José Encarnación Rubio Torres, (Second Generation) joined the business; in 1990 Alejandro Rubio Álvarez joined the business (Third Generation); 1991 the business is relocated to the supply center under the name of Bonanza Seeds and Food; in 1996 Gerardo Rubio Álvarez (Third Generation) joined and the business expanded to the Mercado de Abastos de Guadalajara; in 1999 the COGSSA business (Comercializadora de Granos Seleccionados SA de CV) was born; in 2007 it was relocated with new facilities in Av. Miguel de la Madrid; In 2014, the first exports to Central America and the Caribbean were made.
